Besides working for willbe, I am also involved in independent design projects most of which are architecture-related. The photos demonstrate the expansion concept of a villa/office block in Zugló. The classical building constructed at the end of the 19th century has been enlarged with a stylistically completely different extension. While the powerful contrast emphasizes both structures’ features, the monochrome mortar unites them.
The photos display the form concepts of a detached house in Óbuda. The client gave plenty of rope for the shaping of form and functions of the premises. So, as work began, I explored two distinct approaches. Naturally enough, the final plans and the building permit were completed based on the design concepts approved by the client.
The form concepts of the “ship hotel” were created for the property expansion project of a 9-hectare beach area by Lake Balaton.
My affinity for architecture and form design is also apparent in the interior design of the Coffeeshop Company café. In addition to fulfilling the given functions, my job focused on establishing a more compact, transportable, easily installable and economically operational café unit.
One of my latest interior design works was refurbishing the interior of a private home in Budapest. The living room was replaced by the space previously used as a hall, and what used to be the living room became a library with direct access to the parents’ bedroom. This change resulted in a complete separation of the private and community spaces. The pictures display the concept plans of the new living room. |
