The Summer of a chair

There was a chair.
It has been to 5 flats.
It traveled 4000 kilometers.
It enjoyed summertime in Corsica.
It went camping with children to the lands of Kamanduk.
It visited the river-bed, the meadow, the seaside and the forest.
Now it stands beside a drawing table.
When I sit on it, I remember Corsica, the land of Kamanduk, the river-bed, the meadow, the seaside and the forest.
I remember the summer of a chair.

The exhibition of András Rigler

I first encountered the works of András Rigler in London. I was delighted to find a Hungarian artist living in Paris making such marvelous ceramics. It was then that I decided to organize an exhibition in Budapest where he could present his pieces in front of the Hungarian public.

The exhibition of Sárgi Blogger

”I was born in Ukraine in 1983. Most of my life I spent in a dark, bed storage box where I had plenty of time to contemplate. I re-entered the world in 2005. Since then I have not had a minute to be bored. I observe things and people around me. I come across interesting companies. I love listening when people speak. I enjoy being around friends. I like being alone. I laugh when something is really, really funny. I think important things are not difficult things. I do play, but I am not a toy. Everyone has their own business. Mine is to be engaged in what I am fond of doing. I share my experiences with others. “

Sárgi’s first exhibition was the fruit of a collective collaboration involving the Art Lounge Gallery, Ivánka and the Krea Contemporary Arts Institute. The photo series told the story of the short, but eventful life of this free spirit in bearskin. Anh Tuan, Je Suis Belle, Artista and the latest graduates of Krea Contemporary Arts Institute designed accessories and clothes for Sárgi. As a project coordinator, I was in charge of the event organization.

Creative camp

Kamanduk, the nomad summer camp for children organized for the fourth time, has seen me as a member of its enthusiastic coordinators for the past two years. Imagination is not only an elaborate story frame for the events taking place but it also provides us with the opportunity to make the tale come true in a more creative way. The egg, the statue, the plexi bubbles and other recycled objects were accessories of the time machine, which flew us into the future.

Drawings

The pursuit of drawing and writing has played a major role in my life since my childhood as these are the tools which enable me to express my ideas and thoughts. Pictures embellish and define messages in multiple ways that everyday communication does not make possible. Personally, I find it essential to perceive objects of design with the same astonishment nature, the diversity of humankind or the proportions of a building and city provokes. I love getting an insight into what is behind a phenomena, thus understanding the process of how an emotion and thought becomes form, text or drawing. The more sincere and lucid the message is, the more beautiful I will find a piece of art.
